- Assists in the identification and implementation of staff training schemes to ensure the company’s operating standards are achieved.
- Ensures that regular stock-takes are done as laid down by the Hotel’s stock policy and are carried out in the correct manner.
- Shall attend regular meetings including staff communication meetings and staff incentive meetings to facilitate smooth running of the department and Sun N Sands as a whole.
- Shall perform any other duties relevant to this job that he will from time to time be called upon to perform by the management.

Assistant F&B Manager

- Managing the Food and beverage Department while operating within the Hotel’s governing rules and regulations.
- Ensuring departments operating standards are maintained in all areas at all times with regards to service and cleanliness.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction is established and maintained by the staff in the department through the outlet managers.
- Ensuring prompt production of reports e.g. stock control reports, on the aspects of the department as directed by company policy and the Food and Beverage manager.
- Assists in the identification and implementation of staff training schemes to ensure the company’s operating standards are achieved.
- Conducting with the assistance of outlet managers staff performance appraisals.
- Responsible for all operating equipment in the outlets and inculcates in staff, a culture of good care of equipment and assets.
- Ensuring that the correct grievance procedures are followed.
• Supplying relevant information to outlet managers pertaining departments operations to assist them in planning and running their areas.
- Constantly assessing the training requirements for staff through the outlet managers under him and assists in implementation of training programmes.
- Assisting in personnel interviews of his department.
- Attending regular meetings including staff communication meetings and staff incentive meetings to facilitate smooth running of the department as a whole.

- Managing the Food and beverage outlets while operating within the Hotel’s governing rules and regulations.
- Ensuring standards are maintained in the area of responsibility at all times with regards to service and cleanliness.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction is established and maintained by the staff in his area of duty.
- Ensuring prompt production of reports e.g. stock control reports, on the aspects of the department as directed by company policy and the Food and Beverage manager.
- Assists in the identification and implementation of staff training schemes to ensure the company’s operating standards are achieved.
- Assisting in staff performance appraisals.
- Responsible for all operating equipment in the outlets and inculcates in staff, a culture of good care of equipment and assets.
