  • Managing the Food and beverage Department while operating within the Hotel’s governing rules and regulations.

  • Ensuring departments operating standards are maintained in all areas at all times with regards to service and cleanliness.

  • Ensuring guest satisfaction is established and maintained by the staff in the department through the outlet managers.

  • Ensuring prompt production of reports e.g. stock control reports, on the aspects of the department as directed by company policy and the Food and Beverage manager.

  • Assists in the identification and implementation of staff training schemes to ensure the company’s operating standards are achieved.

  • Conducting with the assistance of outlet managers staff performance appraisals.

  • Responsible for all operating equipment in the outlets and inculcates in staff, a culture of good care of equipment and assets.

  • Ensuring that the correct grievance procedures are followed.
    • Supplying relevant information to outlet managers pertaining departments operations to assist them in planning and running their areas.

  • Constantly assessing the training requirements for staff through the outlet managers under him and assists in implementation of training programmes.
